Changing Employee Communications

Devising new ways to communicate with employees.

 

Project Objective

Transitioning into the role of the Communications Manager, I had an opportunity to change the way we communicate internally. Employees get inundated with all kinds of communication, especially email. How do we breakthrough to help employees understand our business?

The strategy was to create snackable content so that employees can quickly scan communications for what they need. Through research I found that a journalistic approach connected better with people due to the how storytelling creates connections.

I collaborated with employees across the organization to create stories that would create personal connections and humanize our leadership.
